What does Scope Merge do?
We help European companies build engineering teams in Tunisia. We handle recruitment, employment (EOR), and team support. You get full-time engineers who work exclusively for you.
How is this different from a recruiting agency?
Recruiting agencies charge 15-25% placement fees and disappear after the hire. We employ the engineers long-term through our EOR, handle payroll and compliance, and provide ongoing support. No placement fees.
What if an engineer doesn't work out?
We replace them at no additional cost within the first 90 days. After that, we handle offboarding and backfill as needed.
How long does hiring take?
Typically 3-4 weeks from defining the role to an engineer starting. Sometimes faster if we already have candidates in our pipeline.
What's included in the monthly cost?
Everything: salary, payroll, taxes, benefits, compliance, HR support, and office space in Tunisia. One invoice, no hidden fees.
Do I need to commit long-term?
No. Most clients start with 1-2 engineers for 3-6 months to see how it works. You can scale up or down with 30 days notice.
How do I manage remote engineers?
They work as part of your team. They use your tools, join your meetings, and report to your engineering leads. We handle employment and HR; you handle the work.
Is this GDPR compliant?
Yes. Tunisia is a Convention 108+ country with GDPR-aligned data protection laws.
Can I visit the team in Tunisia?
Absolutely. Tunisia is 2-3 hours from most European cities. Many clients visit quarterly for planning sessions or team building.
